Newborn sessions take place in the studio and allow plenty of time for feeding, settling, and comforting your baby. Nothing is rushed, and the session is guided by your baby’s comfort throughout.

Portraits may include your baby individually, with parents, and with siblings. I will provide gentle direction throughout the session, creating a combination of carefully composed portraits and natural moments that reflect this new chapter in your lives.

Newborn sessions are ideally photographed within the first two to three weeks after birth. Because arrival dates can change, your session is reserved around your due date and confirmed once your baby arrives.

A Year to Remember follows your baby’s first year through four thoughtfully planned portrait sessions, beginning during pregnancy and continuing through their first birthday.

Each session captures a different stage of the experience—from the anticipation of welcoming your baby to the changing expressions, personality, and connections that develop throughout the first year. The sessions are planned together so the final collection feels connected while still reflecting each individual milestone.

There is no need to know how to pose or plan every detail in advance. I will guide you through each session, helping with positioning, expression, and the small details that bring everything together. Sessions can take place in the studio or on location, depending on the time of year and the look you would like to create.

EACH SESSION INCLUDES:

Family portraits are included in two of the four sessions. The five-month and first-birthday sessions are recommended, as these stages naturally capture how your baby’s personality and your connection as a family have grown.

At the end of the year, you will have a carefully created series of photographs preserving the anticipation, milestones, and everyday connections that made your baby’s first year uniquely yours.
